Market Day, Batik Cascade, Ocean Waves, The Dolphins' Domain, Potholder

Quilting:

Last Friday was the big reveal for Market Day, a sew-along by Pam Buda of Heartspun Quilts. Here's what I got sewn together this week:

I'm planning on leaving off the large border; I will, however, do the small border. I'm not a big fan of plain -- i.e. not pieced -- borders, but I do think the small border frames this quilt nicely and since it will be purple in my version that center piece won't look quite so lonely.

Next, I did some more quilting on Batik Cascade (Batik Go-Round) by Karen Combs.

I also nearly finished attaching the last binding strip to the potholder.

Cross Stitch:

I did some more work on The Dolphins' Domain designed by James Himsworth.

Swedish Weaving:

Finally, I did some more stitching on the towel based on Ocean Waves from Learn to Make Monk’s Cloth Afghans by Marilyn T. Magly.

Sorry about the captcha, folks, but when I turned it off I got a ton of spam. Also, all comments are moderated to prevent any internet nastiness. However, I'd love to hear from nice people who don't have anything to sell. :)
