Weekly Update

Quilting:

I finished Part 9 of Market Day, a sew-along by Pam Buda of Heartspun Quilts.  All the fabrics in these blocks are from Pam's American Gothic fabric line.


Next, I did some more quilting on Batik Cascade (Batik Go-Round) by Karen Combs.

 


I also did some more quilting on the last block for the potholders.

 


Swedish Weaving:

Finally, I did some more work on the towel based on Ocean Waves from Learn to Make Monk’s Cloth Afghans by Marilyn T. Magly.

Weekly Update

Cross Stitch:

I finished stitching Cool Kat, a Mini-Kats™ design by Linda Connors of Calico Crossroads®, adapted from the artwork of Kathleen Kelly of Kats by Kelly™.


I also did some more work on The Dolphins' Domain designed by James Himsworth.


Quilting:

I finished Part 8 of Market Day, a sew-along by Pam Buda of Heartspun Quilts.  The light print is from Pam's American Gothic fabric line.


Next, I did some more quilting on Batik Cascade (Batik Go-Round) by Karen Combs.

 


I started sewing the 3rd binding strip to the first potholder.


I also did some more quilting on a block for another potholder.

 


Swedish Weaving:

Finally, I finished hemming the sides of the towel and started the embroidery. I'm using Ocean Waves from Learn to Make Monk’s Cloth Afghans by Marilyn T. Magly.

I finally finished hemming the ends on Mountain Pines from Learn to Make Monk’s Cloth Afghans by Marilyn T. Magly.
 

 
 

Lastly, I pressed and pinned the side hems on my next towel.
