Wheat Fields, Batik Cascade, Around the Town, Brilliant Butterfly Celebration, Potholder, Step Afghan

Quilting:

I did some more quilting on Batik Cascade (Batik Go-Round) by Karen Combs.

I also got to work on the potholders again. I cut out 2 single-thickness binding strips and 2 double-thickness, and then I realized that I actually needed 3 of the double-thickness strips and I was out of that fabric. Whoops. Fortunately, the fabric is from one of the few perennial lines out there, so all I have to do is order more.

I finished sewing one of the single-thickness binding strips and started on the second.

I finished the second flying geese border strip for Around the Town by Dawna Baker and sewed it to the rest of the quilt. I also started sewing the next border strip together.

Cross Stitch:

I did some more work on Brilliant Butterfly Celebration (designer unknown) from The Gold Collection by Dimensions.

Swedish Weaving:

I finished hemming the towel and started on the embroidery. For this one I'm using Wheat Fields from Learn to Make Monk’s Cloth Afghans by Marilyn T. Magly.

Crochet:

Finally, I did some more work on the step afghan.
