First, I did a cross stitch interpretation of the traditional Storm At Sea quilt pattern with the usual stormy blues and greys.

The deep green and purple one looks very masculine, or at least what I imagine as masculine... and with saturated colors on dark background reminds me of 80s and 90s video games.

ReplyDeleteI was trying to enhance the illusion of movement by using green and purple shades that are often used to trick the brain into seeing motion in optical illusions.
